The Owners of Irving Place

Janey & Teddy are the proud owners of Irving Place in Manhattan (just kidding but after you scroll through and briefly hear their story you might just join me in petitioning to change the street name after them) 🥹🥰

This insanely beautiful, sweet, fun-loving pair met in 2020 and had their first date at the pictured table at @follianyc 🍷🍝 After their first date, they went to the backyard of Teddy’s apartment and talked till 3 am. Eventually, Janey moved in there with Teddy a few years later. Last November, they even got engaged at that very same apartment. They celebrated @gramercytavern, had a party @cibarlounge on Irving, and have spent the last five years making memories up and down the avenue. They share memories on every. single. block. at nearly every restaurant or bar that lines them (especially @casamonobarjamon) 🕺🏽🍸🌮

I had the privilege of re-living their love story and photographing them at some of their most special, iconic spots on and around Irving Place, and even visiting their apartment full of cherished memories and notes (an extra special one is pictured 😉). This was an incredibly special, personal shoot with two of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. I’m so excited to see these lovers again next summer at their wedding rehearsal dinner 🕊️
