Welcome! I’m Anushka (friends call me Nush/Nushy), a Digital and Analog photographer serving the greater New York City Metro area.
I specialize in photography for weddings, couples, intimate events, the arts, and general portraiture. My work is guided by a simple belief: the most powerful images are the ones that feel true. Whether it’s capturing quiet in-between moments or celebrating bold expression, I focus on preserving effortless, authentic memories and timeless beauty that will resonate for years to come.

a little about me :)
I’m a first generation Indian-American graduate from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where I concentrated in Digital Culture and minored in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. My professional and creative background spans training as pre-professionally dancer, working in PR and distribution for indie cinema at Utopia, and most recently, I was a full-time Senior Market Strategy Analyst at Ipsos. What connects my work across film, media, research, and photography is a blend of thoughtful observation & analysis, creative clarity, and authentic community engagement.
Photography has been a consistent creative outlet throughout my life, and I’m so elated that it’s now my full-time job. I started shooting on various digital formats in 2012 and picked up analog (film) photography in 2019. One of my cameras has always been in my hand or hiding in my bag whenever I leave the house. My goal is to capture the most honest and memorable essence of a person, place, or event. Preserving organic, emotionally-charged moments are my jam!
My deepest fulfillment comes from creating, whether that’s designing, dancing, cooking, and mainly — memories. I’m also incredibly energized by connecting people; I love meeting new faces, learning about their lives and hearts, and building something lasting & meaningful together.
